Vines grown on clay-limestone soil in the municipality of Bué. The must went through an alcoholic fermentation at a low temperature to obtain maximum aromatic character. Matured in modern thermo-regulated vats on fine lees in order to reinforce the smooth texture of the wine.

Dominique and Janine Crochet established their estate in 1992, starting with just a few hectares of perfectly situated hillside vineyards in Bué. Though their estate is relatively young, they stem from an ancient line of winemakers in the area. Today the Domaine extends over fifteen hectares in more than forty tiny parcels, and is one of the leading estates in Sancerre.
