The Family Courrian has been living in Blaignan-Médoc since 1634. The Grands-parents of the current owner bought the vineyard and the windmill in 1877. The windmail was renovated by the local authority in 1981. Véronique Courrian and Fabien Courrian, the current owner, are the 4th generation of the family.

BLENDING
50 % Merlot, 50 % Cabernet Franc
AGING
100% in French oak barrels (25% new) for 16 to 20 months.
TASTING
Deep ruby/purple, with notes of charcoal/burning embers in addition to black currants, licorice, truffle and graphite, it is full-bodied, rich, authoritative and has light to moderate tannins.
FOOD PAIRING
This wine will be especially appreciated with red meats and game.
