Estacion Carmenere ; 100% Carmenere
Intense, inky violet color, aromas of , dark fruit, coffee, and chocolate. The palate profile can echo the nose but is largely dominated by cassis, cherry, blackberry, blueberry, plum, pepper, earthy nuances.

Location: Palmilla, Colchagua Valley, near the city of Santa Cruz and 2 km from the Estampa Winery.
Plantation year: 1998, 2000.
Total area planted: 92 ha.
Trellising system: traditional vertical shoot position.
Primary varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Syrah, Petit Syrah, Petit Verdot, Viognier.
Irrigation system: drip.
Climate: warm Mediterranean. The average temperature during the ripening period surpasses 26ºC, and average annual precipitation is approximately 600 mm. The area is not affected by spring frosts, and the climate is ideal for red varieties, which ripen fully.
Soils: deep with silty-clay-loam texture, a high presence of clay, and generally homogenous profiles at depth.
