Primary varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Syrah, Petit Syrah, Petit Verdot, Viognier.

Climate: warm Mediterranean. The average temperature during the ripening period surpasses 26ºC, and average annual precipitation is approximately 600 mm. The area is not affected by spring frosts, and the climate is ideal for red varieties, which ripen fully.
Soils: deep with silty-clay-loam texture, a high presence of clay, and generally homogenous profiles at depth.
